Tom Cruise Did Not Jump on Oprah's Couch This Time, But Five Years Later on May 14 2010, the Star Returned to Oprah's Show

Tom Cruise appeared on Oprah on May 14 2010 and although he did not jump on the couch and proclaim his love for Katie Holmes again, he did gush about his family, his daughter and his career.

When the conversation turned to Suri Cruise, Tom could not say enough about how much he loves her and how much she has changed his and Katie's lives.

"Life is very good," he said on Friday's show, adding with a smile, "Kids are growing up, love my wife...five years that we've been together, Suri is four."

Both Tom and Katie have been criticized in the past for putting Suri too much in the spotlight but Tom said that when you are stalked by the paparazzi every day of your life you have to learn to deal with it:

"We don't make it a problem. We don't get nervous about it, we get used to it. Kate is a very relaxed person. We just do it."

He even revealed that Suri likes to dress herself and wears whatever she wants; she even tells Tom what to wear as well!

He also opened up about his other children and said that son Connor, who is 15 now, is so smart that he often just listens to his son talk and his only wish for both Connor and Isabella is that they find something that makes them happy so that it does not feel like work. He said he wants them 'to produce in life and help society'.

When asked by Oprah how he and Katie manage to stay normal and grounded Tom answered with that famous smile 'on a typical Friday night we play Quick Scrabble'.
