2008 is almost over and as millions of income earners in Canada and US struggle to come to terms with impacts of the global financial crisis, small comfort may come from a string of high profile CEO firings this year.

The biggest names come from America's financial sector beginning with Lehman Brothers and Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae.

And what might 2009 hold? Perhaps the Big 3 automaker boards will review their top dogs.

i would say, it would be nice if you could add some what a bit more to the Post. Your Picture is good and your title very cashing. The Post does however need some more work I think.

I wonder how large their golden parachutes were?  If you're getting millions of dollars after you were fired, is that really going to teach you a lesson?  Hey, if you want to pay me millions I'm pretty sure I can run a company with no experience just as well as some of these others have.  Hell, I might make you money accidentally!  Tell you what, I'll work for $250,000 US a year, just give me a shot!
