Tori Spelling Discusses Her Dramatic Weight Loss and Her Skinny Frame in Her New Book Uncharted TerriTORI

Tori Spelling's weight loss has been the subject of much in the tabloid media these past few months, and now the actress has decided to speak out in her new book Uncharted TerriTORI. She has received criticism for appearing at events (see photos below) with what seems to be an increasingly skinny frame, but she insists that she does not suffer from an eating disorder and says her weight loss is the result of swine flu, stomach pain, migraines and nerve problems.

USA Today reports in her new book Spelling says:

"I've never had a great stomach, but (being ill) just completely tore up my stomach and broke down my immune system, and I've basically just been a mess ever since, stomach-wise. It's about rebuilding my immune system,"

Last year on Twitter the star said she weighed 107 pounds, but she knows she is a role model for young girls and told US Magazine:

"I'm a role model for a lot of women out there, so I hate that they say these things unwarranted, without any research and facts," she says. "I think it's doing a disservice to women out there that look up to any celebrity."

Spelling is married to Dean McDermott and they have a daughter Stella, 2 and a son Liam, 3. Spelling admitted that she is concerned about all the media speculation about her weight and says she is grateful her daughter cannot read yet.

"I'm hoping they'll let up on that by the time she gets old enough to understand, but I'm going to have to explain to her that this is what happens."
