Tracy Morgan Recovering from Kidney Transplant

Tracy Morgan, who plays Tracy Jordan on 30 Rock, is recovering from kidney transplant surgery.

Tracy Morgan, who suffers from diabetes, will have to miss taping for at least two episodes of the show in order to recuperate, but will be back in action sooner rather than later, and will no doubt be living every week like it's Shark Week.

In an interview in 2006, Morgan told Time magazine he did not take his diabetes seriously until a doctor told him he could lose a foot to the disease.

"That was it for me. Now I take my insulin every day," he said.
