Shoppers pass by a rack of traditional Malay shirts called Baju Melayu which are still popular during the Hari Raya (Eid) festival in Malaysia. Yes, these colourful satin shirts are worn by men.

Event: Photographic Society of Petaling Jaya's outing to the Ramadan Bazaar around the Jalan Masjid India area in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 13 September 2008.

The Ramadan Bazaar is an annual event held during the fasting month (Ramadan) which ends with the Hari Raya (Eid) celebrations. The bazaar consists of hundreds of stalls selling a variety of tradtional Malay clothes and food apart from other things like jeans and watches. In 2008, the month of Ramadan is from the 1 to 30 September.
