Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Dissed in Transformers: Dark of the Moon Reviews
Transformers: Dark of the Moon premiered at the Moscow Film Festival. The reviews are somewhat mixed, but one theme seems to be emerging: Megan Fox replacement Rosie Huntington-Whiteley may not want to quit her day job as a lingerie model.
- In Giving Transformers 3 three out of five stars, Total Film decreed, "British model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is awful – awful! – as LaBeouf’s new love interest, sucking the life out of every scene she appears in like some pneumatic Dyson sexbot."
- Baz Bamigboye at the Daily Mail went with the headline, "Come back Megan Fox, all is forgiven..."[sic] Rosie Huntington-Whiteley isn't finding any friends among her native Britain's reviewers, it seems. "Can't act for toffee" was the term he used.
- IGN is kinder to Rosie, decreeing her "hotter than hell"; fair enough-- she was voted FHM's sexiest woman in the world, so that's like calling Charlie Sheen "controversial": it's a given.

There are two main types of reviewers who are excited to watch the new Transformers film: Those who want to like Transformers: Dark of the Moon after the travesty that was Revenge of the Fallen, and those who were just sharpening their knives. So, what about the robots? After all, Transformers flicks aren't about plot or acting, but about robots beating the crap out of each other.
All reviews so far say that the action sequences are great, but a few mention that the movie is too long, at over two hours. There's a plot, too, but that's not why you're reading this roundup. You want to know if Megan Fox's replacement is hot, if she's a passable actor, and if the robots spend enough time destroying each other and their immediate surroundings. Early reviews say yes, no, and yes.
