Transformers' Dominate. Up Soars to #1. Hangover Doesn't Go Away.

No surprise here, but Transformers is #1 for the weekend. It grossed $112 million. Don't forget it opened on Wednesday. So, its 5-day total is $201.2 million. Next weekend it goes up against Ice Age 3D.

In other news, Up soared above Star Trek to become the year's highest grossing movie. It has grossed $250.2 million since opening a month ago. Star Trek has grossed $246.2 million. Although to be fair, Up has been playing in 3D, which costs more, so Star Trek is still leading in attendance.

Finally, sleeper hit, The Hangover, enters the top 5 with $183.2 million. It bumped Wolverine which has only grossed $177.8 million.
