UPDATE: It's been 4 weeks to the day since Travis Barker was checked into hospital following the plane crash that only he and DJ AM survived.

But Friday morning Barker was released from Sherman Oaks' Grossman Burn Center — just hours after posting an update about his progress on his MySpace blog.

Earlier this morning, Travis Barker told fans he was "healing up quickly" and would be out of the hospital "b4 you know it."

He wasn't kidding.

On Friday, exactly four weeks after surviving a private plane crash, the former Blink-182 drummer was released from Sherman Oaks' Grossman Burn Center, the Los Angeles-area facility where he has been receiving treatment since Sept. 29.

The 32-year-old rocker will continue his recovery at home and has requested privacy while he continues to recover from the second- and third-degree burns he sustained in the Sept. 19 Learjet crash.

PREVIOUSLY: Former Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker who, along with DJ AM, survived a plane crash in September that killed four people, is still recovering in hospital.

Despite his lengthy recovery, however, Barker has found time to fire up the laptop and he is blogging about his progress on MySpace.

Travis Barker's recovery does indeed compute.

The hospitalized—though perhaps not for much longer—rocker has posted yet another entry on his MySpace blog, updating fans and well-wishers on his continually improving condition.

"Just another quick one to let everyone know that I think Im getting out of the hospital soon," he says in a "Hospital Update" posted this morning.

"I can't wait to get out of here and be home with the babes," the father of two writes. "The doctors say Im healing up quickly and I'm gonna be out of here b4 you know it."

The former Blink-182 drummer, who has undergone seven surgeries total and is currently being treated at a Los Angeles burn center, has even begun his transition back to healthy rock star mode, indulging in A-list creature comforts like Beverly Hills delivery and visits from star pals.
