Tremors: Finding the Tweetiest Places

Want to separate the tweets from the twits? A mobile app company called Rummble (what's with all the extraneous letters, guys and gals?) is testing a Twitter service called Tremors, which filters Twitter activity about venues like bars, restaurants and hotels to find the Tweetiest places. In other words, the venues which the most people in a city are tweeting about.

Right now, it's only looking in New York City; Austin, TX, and London, so, if you're looking for what people are saying about a lounge in another city... well, look in Austin instead.

Now, mobile startup Rummble is trying to crack this nut with a non-core product which just might actually super-charge their existing recommendations service.

Obviously, the success of this service depends on peeps tweeting about exactly where they're hanging out, and one must wonder how much spam the service will pick up (or attract)...

But hey, I just had to do a Tremor Truemor.
