What is it with Swedish rock fans? They're getting legendary Canadian hard rock icons Triumph to reunite and putting them on a bill with Whitesnake, Judas Priest, and Def Leppard.
In 2008?? Lay it on the Line, baby.
It's game-on for Triumph, a storied Canadian hard-rock trio that splintered years ago, but is now scheduled to reunite. The band, which broke through commercially in 1979 with the release of the album Just a Game, is scheduled to perform at the Sweden Rock Festival, in Norje, Sweden, June 4 to 7.With its original lineup (including drummer Gil Moore, bassist Mike Levine and guitarist Rik Emmett, who left in 1988), the group is to perform with incarnations of fellow bygone arena-rock heroes Whitesnake (Here I Go Again), Judas Priest (You've Got Another Thing Comin') and Def Leppard(Rock of Ages).
