HBO has very prudently filled Blockbuster stores with free rentals of True Blood's first episode. I grabbed one (see pic) and was able to watch before the show aired. It was both more sexy and more violent than I'd been expecting and, though it was without the burdening weight of Six Feet, it was good to have some Ball back on the box.

And hey, an S&M scene in the premiere? I so have to see the next.
