Singing and singers would appear to be taking up a lot of court time in Turkey at the moment.

After the postponement of the trial of one of the country's biggest singers, Bulent Ersoy, for speaking out against the futility of sending soldiers to die in the country's conflict with the Kurdish PKK separatist group, a judge has now dismissed charges made against a children's choir.

A Turkish judge has thrown out a case against members of a Kurdish children's choir, who faced up five years in prison over a song they sang.
