TV Marathons New Year's Day 2010: What to Watch on TV

So after the excitement of New Year's Eve is over, and you may be suffering from a hangover from the parties you attended, if you don't have to work New Year's Day, one of the best ways to spend your time is on the couch watching TV. The TV networks have answered your call for some epic marathons on January 1st 2010, and below is a list of what you can choose from.

Syfy will one again be playing their annual Twilight Zone marathon from 7am New Year's Eve to 5am January 2nd 2010.

AMC will run their Three Stooges marathon from 6am New Year's Eve to 5am New Year's Day.

Science Channel - How Do They Do It marathon from 5am to 1:30am January 2nd.

Bravo - Biggest Loser marathon from 8am to 8pm.

USA - Law & Order SVU marathon from 5am (breaks for the Holiday Bowl Parade) then continues.

Discovery - Mythbusters marathon from 8am for the rest of the day.

CMT - Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader marathon from 1pm to 8pm.

WE TV - Golden Girls marathon from 10am to 7pm

Disney - Sonny With A Chance marathon from 12pm to 12am.

Logo - Buffy The Vampire Slayer marathon from 6am to 12am

Style - Supernanny marathon from 12pm to 6pm

Lifetime - Jennifer Aniston movie marathon from 11am to 11pm.

Chiller - Alfred Hitchcock movie marathon from 8am to 4pm.

Spike TV - Lethal Weapon and Die Hard movie marathon from 9am onwards

AMC - The Matrix movie marathon from 11am onwards

TCM - James Stewart movie marathon from 6:45am onwards.

A&E - Criminal Minds marathon from 8am to 4am

Fox Reality - American Idol marathon from 12pm to 9pm

As always the 121st Rose Bowl Parade will air on ABC, NBC, The Hallmark Channel, HGTV, Univision and the Travel Channel at 10am.

The choices are no better here Amy, for a start there's no cricket on.

It's mostly re-runs and stuff you wouldn't want to watch over paint drying.

So I think I might just stick some music on, sit back with a glass of Sauvignon and chill 'til the next test starts against South Africa on Sunday. (oh, that's Cricket...for all you baseball fans)
