TV REVIEW: Conan on TBS! COCO IS BACK!
Tonight, Conan O' Brien returned to television with his latest talk show on TBS. And, as expected, it was great. Coco has been doing this for 17 years. He just jumped back into it. It's the Coco you all know and love.
The episode began with a skit of Conan looking for work after leaving NBC. He tried being a clown for a children's party before moving on to a cashier at Burger King. When those jobs didn't work out he is advised by his guardian angel, Larry King, to try basic cable. It was hilarious to say the least. The monologue was filled with NBC bashing, which got tiresome after a while, but the Masturbating Bear showed up to save the day. His first guest was Seth Rogen who took advantage of being on basic cable by cursing multiple times. Conan and his sidekick Andy Richter played off that quite well. Glee's Lea Michele was the second guest and she was very sweet and adorable. But the highlight of the guest segment was Jack White as the musical performer. Coco strapped on his guitar and jammed along. It was awesome!
Overall, it's good ol' Conan. He's back and bringing his A-game. So, tune-in every Monday through Thursday at 11pm on TBS.
