Twilight 3: Eclipse in Development, Set for June 2010 Release

With the first "Twilight" film barely out of theatres and not even released on DVD, and the second film greenlit but not even in production — the third installment of the wildly popular teen vampire series is already in development.

"Twilight: Eclipse" has confirmed key cast members and its screenwriter — and even set a theatrical release date: June 2010.

Talk about getting going early on this one.

The 3rd installment of the vampire love saga "Twilight" is all set for a June 2010 release.

With $363 million worldwide box office from the 1st flick, Summit Entertainment is moving right along with part 3 even before part 2 has begun filming!

"Eclipse" will still include Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner playing the strange love triangle of monsters, focusing more on Lautner's character, Jacob, and the world of werewolves.

Melissa Rosenberg, who wrote the first 2 scripts, is on board for "Eclipse".
