The Set of the New Twilight Set Film in Tofino, British Columbia Was Evacuated After the Japan Tsunami

While there are clearly more important stories surrounding Japan's massive earthquake and tsunami, the massive natural disaster has affected the filming of the new Twilight film.

Shooting of Twilight: Breaking Dawn was postponed due to a tsunami advisory.

The Twilight film set in Tofino, British Columbia was placed on a tsunami advisory after the Japan earthquake created massive waves that affected the Pacific coast. It should be noted that no Twilight actors or crew were in harm's way and the Twilight tsunami set evacuation was strictly a precaution.

Twilight actress Tinsel Korey tweeted: "They're evacuating us 4 a tsunami warning. If this this is my last my tweet. I love you. The end. Hugz."

Tofino, BC is located on the western tip of Vancouver Island.
