Twilight Convention for Teen Vampire Fans: Tour Dates and Cities

Twilight series producers have announced that a Twilight Convention may be coming to a town near you. Teen fans of the vampire series will no doubt be in a frenzy to attend the Twilight Conference when it comes to, or near by, their home town. The Twilight-Con is expected to be a very popular event.
The Twilight Conventions will begin August 28, 2009 in New Jersey, with the last announced date on September 1-3, 2010 in Oregon. Other dates may be added at any time, and the tour dates of scheduled events are subject to change. As of August 19, 2009 there are 18 Twilight Convention scheduled dates in 18 cities throughout Canada and the United States.
The scheduled dates and locations of the 2009-2010 Twilight Conventions are:
- New Jersey - August 28-30, 2009 @ The Hilton Parsippany
- Chicago - October 2-4, 2009 @ Westin O'Hare
- Miami - January 8-10, 2010 @ The Hilton Miami Downtown
- Seattle - January 15-17, 2010 @ Westin Seattle
- Nashville - January 29-31, 2010 @ Gaylord Opreyland Resort & Hotel
- San Francisco - February 12-14, 2010 @ Hyatt Regency SF Airport
- Atlanta - March 5-7, 2010 @ Westin Buckhead
- Los Angeles - March 12-14, 2010 @ Marriott Los Angeles Airport
- Arlington - April 23-25, 2010 @ Sheraton National Hotel
- Charlotte - April 30-May 2, 2010 @ Marriott Charlotte Executive Park
- Vancouver, BC - May 14-16, 2010 @ Sheraton Vancouver Wall Center
- Minneapolis - June 11-13, 2010 @ Minneapolis Marriott
- Phoenix - June 18-20, 2010 @ The WigWam Resort
- Chicago - June 25-27, 2010 @ Westin O'Hare
- Boston - July 16-18, 2010 @ Hyatt Regency Cambridge
- Toronto, ON - July 30-August 1, 2010 @ Westin Harbour Castle

- Portland - September 1-3, 2010 @ Hilton Portland & Executive Tower
Beginning Aug. 28 at the Hilton Parsippany Hotel in Parsippany, N.J., weekend conventions will be held in such cities as Chicago; Miami; Seattle; Nashville; San Francisco; Atlanta; Los Angeles; Charlotte, N.C.; Minneapolis; Phoenix; Boston; Toronto; and Portland, Ore.
The conventions will feature on-stage appearances by "Twilight" celebrities, screenings of exclusive footage, panel discussions, parties, musical performances, costume and trivia competitions, auctions, autographing, merchandising and photo opportunities. "Twilight" fan sites, including www.twilightlexicon.com and www.twilightmoms.com, will take part with special presentations at stops on the convention tour.
"The Twilight Saga: New Moon," the second movie in the franchise adapted from Stephenie Meyer's best-selling books, opens theatrically in North America on Nov. 20.

You know what really Peeves me off, we just do not get enough coverage in Vancouver about Pattision and Kristen, I mean whats up with that. I look forward to reading more, as most of us thirst for every morsel of their comings and goings in Vangroovy,I have to go now, my fave episode of Star Trek is on, and my Pita Pockets are melting in my basement suite of my parents house

Hello, I am writing this more because I have to ask...Why dont any of the dates include places such as Nova Scotia??? Halifax has a perfectly great convention center that can accomodate many people. I am a huge Twilight fan and would live to see them here!! Not everyone in Canada lives in Toronto. There are very deserving fans that live on the East coast that are always being left out of the loop? We pay to see the movies like everyone else!! Why can't we be included as well?? Is there someone that can help?
