In addition to all of the online talk about Twilight's Breaking Dawn being made into two movies, there's also been "Eclipse" trailer buzz on the net this week. Twilight blogs and fan sites heard the rumour on Wednesday and have since been asking: will there be an "Eclipse" trailer set to run before the new "Percy Jackson" movie? It seemed to be a likely choice given the fantasy content of "Percy Jackson", so naturally, fans started to wonder.

The answer is no. While the rumour mill may have churned up a story about an "Eclipse" trailer running prior to the premiere of "Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief" this weekend, there's no truth to the information. It seems that Summit is holding off on "Eclipse." The focus for the next little while will instead be on the releases of Robert Pattinson's "Remember Me," Kristen Stewart's "The Runaways," and "Letters to Juliet."

We spoke with Summit Entertainment today, and were told it's "not happening." Rumors about the Eclipse trailer hit the Internet on Wednesday, and while we'd love to report that its true, it's simply not.

Twilight fans thought that the rumour could likely be true because of the similar fantastical genre of both movies as well as the "Eclipse" June 30 2010 release date quickly approaching. With just four months left, Twilight fans are itching for a glimpse of "Eclipse" and trailers for such highly anticipated films are usually released well in advance of the actual release date. So the question remains: when exactly is Summit going to give Twilight fans an "Eclipse" trailer?
