Promotion for The Twilight Saga: New Moon was in full swing this weekend with a huge Twilight cast turn out at Hot Topic in LA's Hollywood & Highland Center. Fans in attendance were expecting Q&A sessions with Twilight stars such as Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene, Peter Facinelli, Volturi vampires and members of the Wolfpack as well as musical performances by bands from the New Moon soundtrack. What they didn't know was that Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner would be showing up for a surprise appearance at the New Moon promo event.

The three Twilight stars took to the stage at Hot Topic in front of thousands of screaming fans who couldn't believe their luck at being in such close proximity to "Edward," "Bella," and "Jacob." They said some thank yous on stage and interacted with the fans sharing their gratitude for Twilight's success and the proceeded to introduce their fellow cast members who came up on stage.

Robert Pattinson took a moment to speak directly to the fans, thanking them for all of Twilight's success to which he received even louder screams from die-hard fans:

"Thank you to you guys," gushed Robert Pattinson, taking the stage alongside Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner in front of hundreds of shrieking, black-T-shirt-clad fans. "Without you, 'Twilight' wouldn't be anywhere."

It was Twilight heaven for any fan of Stephenie Meyer's vampire franchise. Robert, Kristen, and Taylor had been busy all day Friday with the New Moon press junket and various conferences and subsequently, nobody was expecting them to even be available for this event. The three stars haven't been scheduled as guests for any of the promo tour events which has lead fans to wonder if they'll get a glimpse of Rob, Kristen, and Taylor on any other tour stops throughout the US.

Having so many of the New Moon cast members there interacting with the fans undoubtedly raised even more hype for the November 20th debut of the saga's second film. With musical performances by Anya Marina, Band of Skulls and Death Cab for Cutie, fans in attendance at this LA promo got a taste of just how big New Moon is going to be.
