U2 Finish on a High
The unforgettable experience of a U2 concert has now finished its European leg. The 360 tour last night played at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff, Wales. The Edge returning "to the land of his fathers" as Bono put it. Bono also went on to thank the Edge's mother and father for the loan of money when they were first starting out. The Edge even wore a Welsh dragon on his t-shirt with pride. The crowd were in fine singing voice (as you might expect from the Welsh!) and were treated to a selection of songs from mainly The Unforgettable Fire era onwards...no room last night for the classics such as I Will Follow or New Year's Day. The band now take a short break before the 'space junk' touches down for the American stage of the tour starting in Chicago on September 12th.
