U2 will live stream this Sunday's Rose Bowl concert on YouTube for the world to see. The concert will house 95,000 people, which will be the largest-ever at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California.
The concert will begin at 8:30 pm, Pacific time. YouTube has not yet determined if it will place ads during the live streaming. The concert will be archived for future viewing, which will contain overlay ads.
This will be the first time for YouTube to stream full length live concert.
The reps are plotting for all sorts of parking madness on Sunday in Pasadena, so plan ahead. Detailed information is available on the Rose Bowl website. The deadline to purchase advance parking is Tuesday.

This is interesting. It is a ballsy move for them, considering more people will be watching them online than buying the tickets to see them live.

Very U2'y too. They might have delayed the announcement till now because the ticket sale ends today. I suppose those who will go will go. An economist would say it's a good idea.
