Like famed pop-artist Andy Warhol, Ukulele Ray has embraced pop-art and pop-music to create his Lunchbox-A-Leles, citing inspiration from Warhol in the creation of his recent "Campbell's Soup-A-Lele."

"Warhol created art from past and present pop-culture," Ukulele Ray said. "Lunchboxes have long been a part of our pop-culture. Combined with the ukulele, another icon of pop-culture from the 20's and 50's, the 'Lunchbox-A-Lele' is becoming a new symbol of pop-culture for our time."

Pop-art and music come together to create, what Ukulele Ray calls, "Playable Art," in his Lunchbox-A-Lele creations.

"They make incredible wall-hangers, as art... but how many pieces of art can you pull off the wall and actually play, and make music with," questions Ukulele Ray?

Ukulele Ray made his point, by pulling a Beatles' Yellow Submarine Lunchbox-A-Lele off his wall, and strummed "Here Comes The Sun." A most fitting song, from the sunshine Ukulele Ray has brought the world, with his fun, artistic musical lunchboxes.
