With the release of the new trailer for Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief, the momentum and the hype keeps building.

Uma Thurman is the added attraction to this new trailer. Based on the young adult novel, the fantasy-adventure story, inspired from Greek Mythology follows the adventures of Percy Jackson. Percy discovers he is the son of a demigod and along with his friends he sets off to save his kidnapped mother, return Zeus' lightning bolt and prevent a war between the Gods.

Besides Uma Thurman, other stars include Pierce Brosnan, and Rosario Dawson.

The film directed Chris Columbus is being touted as the "Next Harry Potter." - not surprising since Columbus directed three of the Harry Potter films.  Similar claims were made for the Chronicles of Narnia Series and The Golden Compass, now add The Lightning Thief to the list.
