Synopsis:

It is a film about a Sardar Indian Family settled abroad, the grandfather Mr. Kartar Singh (PREM CHOPRA) went there forty years ago. He started his career as taxi driver and when his son grew up his business turned into multi millions. He has always been attached to his country India. His culture, sentiments and emotions made him his son married to a Punjabi girl (RATI AGNIHOTRI) from India. His daughter in law gave birth to a beautiful son Harjeet (PAVAN SHARMA) but at the same time lost her husband. The grand father gave the best of education, and amenities to his grandson. But the extreme love, effect ion and the liberties given by the grandfather and the mother makes him grow into a Playboy. But the respect for his grandfather and the mother is still alive in him. The culture of the west hypnotized the grandson, seeing the circumstances, the grandfather decided to get him married to an Indian Punjabi girl Manpreet (RAKHI VOHRA) thinking that the girl from India will show him the path of living life with values and the culture of the west .The grandson having the respect for his grand father and mother could not object to their wishes. But then the wife coming into his life from Punjab shakes him with her western culture, he goes back to his earlier girlfriend Jeniffer (ALISA KHAN) where he starts drinking. The emotional drama between the grand father, mother and the wife starts from here. How the maussa (SHAKTI KAPOOR) and the massi (DIVYAJYOTEE SHARMA) gets involved into the drama .Do manpreet accepts and or rejects jeniffer and it only happens WHEN MEN TRIES TO CROSS THE BONDRIES OF EMOTIONS and the answer is “MY HUSBANDSS WIFE”.
