Great Idea:)

I had sent this to nine writers at the Vancouver Sun, News 1130 and several other people, in the hope that someone could be of assistance in my contacting someone who could help/cared. No response. Any ideas?Help, from anyone! On Monday, my family and I attended the rehearsal for the opening ceremonies of the Olympics. It was fantastic, except ...This coming Friday, over two billion people will be hearing our national anthem sung in totally non-stirring American; sung as an ode to the inventiveness of the singer, with the quavering voice and the barely recognizable tune.Nikki Yanofsky has a fabulous voice and could possibly (?) sing my family's beloved O Canada so that it, as it normally does, gives us goose bumps, raises the hair on the backs of our necks and brings tears to our eyes. What we heard was so lame, so disappointing, so lifeless, so totally non-stirring. It was not the O Canada of our national anthem. If any of you have an email address for anyone at Vanoc, particularly the artistic director, who sounded as though he was Australian, please pass it on to me so I can do what I can to have the world hear an anthem sung in a manner that can be so much better than that which we hear at the Super Bowl.Thank you,Don
