TLC is about to air (yet another) reality series called My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding, which opens exploitation TV to yet another group: Gypsies. The come-on for the show promises, "Forget the gypsy stereotypes about black magic, bare knuckle boxing, flashy cars and outlandish weddings." However, we get bare-knuckle boxing before the program even airs.

This is easily the most ruthless reality-show brawl we've seen. As is typical for reality TV, we're promised a show that will "break down stereotypes", but then those very stereotypes are reinforced with a vengeance.
