Video: Will Ferrell Super Bowl Commercial Aired Only in Nebraska
Will Ferrell starred in an Old Milwaukee commercial that only aired in Nebraska, and no where else.
In an extremely low-budget and extremely local commercial, Will Ferrell and Old Milwaukee beer commercial held an unusual spot during the Super XLVI: Only in North Platte, Nebraska.
According to the sports blog Deadspin, there's a possibility the ad -- wherein the comedian walks stoically across a field while someone off-camera throws him a beer can -- only showed in the Nebraskan town of North Platte, which also happens to be the hometown of New England Patriots player, Danny Woodhead. Or, maybe it only aired in New Platte because, why not?
Apparently even the cameraman thought the commercial was a waste of 30-seconds, because the commercial gets cut off unexpectedly towards the end.
Ferrell has done a series of Old Milwaukee Beer ads that were filmed in Davenport, Iowa and Terre Haute, Indiana.
