Vietnamese -US musical gala held in Ho Chi Minh City

A Vietnamese-US musical gala has just been held in Ho Chi Minh City in the presence of cultural ambassador and renowned jazz and blues musician and singer Coco York.

Coco York, saxophonist Tran Manh Tuan and other Vietnamese artists presented Vietnamese and foreign numbers such as Qua Cau Gio Bay, On a clear day, Autumn leaves, Without you, Stormy Monday, At least, 12 bar blues, Route 66 and This masquerade.

Coco York said this is the second time she has come to Vietnam and feels very happy to perform at a big festival featuring traditional culture.

On the occasion, Coco York has introduced her jazz album entitled “Teachme- CocoYork” which includes famous songs from around the world.

Updated: More than 350 domestic and foreign spectators attended the event.
