Indian boxer Vijender Singh tied the knot with Archana Singh on May 17, 2011 at Kulawas in Bhiwani, India. The ceremony was held at the Flying Club and was attended mostly by friends and relatives while Congress youth leader Rahul Gandhi was the star attraction.

Archana Singh is a software engineer and works in Delhi.

A grand reception is also organized on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at Kulawas. See the photo gallery of the wedding.

Vijender was dressed in a Manav Gangwani sherwani while Archana wore a Tarun Tahiliani outfit. Watch videos.

"It is a great moment in my life. I've known Archana since 2007 when we were introduced through a common friend. The friendship grew stronger and finally last year I proposed and she accepted," said Vijender.

Many celebrities and politicians are invited to attend the reception.
