Nicki Minaj Massive Attack Video Dedicated to Her 'Musical Family'

When Nicki Minaj filmed her latest video for Massive Attack she told everyone that she wanted to dedicate it to her musical family, especially Lil Wayne who she credits with being one of the first people ever to believe in her. Lil Wayne could not be on the set because he is currently serving jail time.

"I wanna say shout-out to my baby Wayne, because he's not here," Minaj said, sitting in the video's pink Lambo a couple of weeks ago. "This means the world to me, because Wayne was one of the first people that believed in me. He's not here to see my first video. But he's here in spirit, obviously.

Minaj goes on to say that she loves Lil Wayne very much.

Kayne West's girlfriend Amber Rose was on the set however, as Minaj describes Rose as her BFF.

The video features a pink Lamborghini driving in the desert, a black helicopter, various desert creatures such as spiders and scorpions and a lot of pink.

The video also features Sean Garrett, who said that 'it doesn't get much better than this'.

"'Massive Attack,' man, we ain't playing no games. We had to deliver something incredibly huge for Nicki, because as you know, her personality is enormous and the records that she's been on in the past have been very, very hot, but very street records.

Nicki Minaj calls the video 'beautiful' and says it is 'pretty in the dirt'.
