Watch the Throne, the highly-anticipated collaboration between Jay-Z and Kanye West, was released at midnight on August 8. Somehow, Watch the Throne didn't leak beforehand.

Watch the Throne is available on iTunes for (legal) download now, while the physical album will hit stores on August 12. Originally conceived as an EP, Throne's first single, "H.A.M.", dropped in January. "Otis" was released in July.

While the music press seems impressed by Jay-Z's and Kanye West's work, the praise is not universal. Producer 9th Wonder wasn't feeling Throne, and said so on Twitter. It earned him a bucketload of hate.
