It's Official. Director David Wain Says a Wet Hot American Summer Sequel is in the Works

Fans of Wet Hot American Summer can rejoice. Director David Wain has said that the team that produced the cult comedy is working on a sequel.

During a Reddit chat on February 23, 2012, one fan asked him about the chance of a Wet Hot American Summer sequel and/or prequel.

His response: "We are working on the sequel (me and Michael Showalter). Original cast will return. Storyline is secret!"

That cast would include Janeane Garofalo, David Hyde Pierce, Paul Rudd, Amy Poehler and Bradley Cooper.
