What Time Does the Royal Wedding Start on April 29 2011?
With the wedding just days away, it's time to start planning your day, or night, or early morning if you are on the west coast of the US and Canada.
The wedding ceremony takes place in the UK at 11am BST, but TV coverage will start much earlier with Kate Middleton's procession along the Royal Wedding route, a close-up on the guests arriving at Westminster Abbey, and gossip and speculation in general about Kate Middleton's wedding dress and other royal treats.
For those of you located on the east coast of the United States and Canada, the wedding ceremony begins at 6am, while for those on the west coast, it starts at 3am.
Of course, TV coverage will start much earlier, with most networks beginning their programming about two hours before the ceremony. The wedding procession will begin at 10:30 am local time, so 5:30am and 2:30am respectively.
Once the ceremony is over, coverage will continue with the couple making their way back to Buckingham Palace for a reception held by the Queen.
Then of course it will be endless hours of re-runs and discussion about the event.
