The U.S. completed yet another astounding comeback win against a truly excellent Canadian team to reach the gold medal match of the Olympic women’s soccer tournament. this is the official country abbreviation for japan in the olympic games. it has been used throughout the olympics. i would imagine that japan either approved or supplied this abbreviation
