The Israelis seem tired of looking for the Arc of the Covenant since it is lost from the temple. But Gram Hancock was right to conclude that it is in Ethiopia, although could not be able to see it. The Ark of the Covenant had been housed in Ethiopia in the church of Tana Kiroks, an Island in Lake Tana, for 800 years. Then it is said that it had been moved to Axum Zion, a Church in Northern Ethiopia.
Gram Hancock had tried to see the Ark of the Covenant in his eyes in Axum Zion but the head of the church (the Monk) warned him that if he tries to see, he would die immediately and accordingly Gram Hancock stopped there all his trial finding the Ark and proving where it is.
It is true that not only the Ark of the Covenant but also the Holy Cross is in Ethiopia. But it is said that the Ark of the Covenant is not in Axum Zion as presumed to be. Many scholars say that the Ark of the Covenant is in one of unknown church in the rural Ethiopia area of the tens of thousands of churches in the country.
