Whether Visiting Delaware or Looking for Enterntainment July
Just a short note if you are visiting Delaware or are interested in upcoming events:
Delaware Ghost Hunters and other Entertainment
Created in 2005, the Delaware Ghost Hunter's mission is to "investigate the possible presence of paranormal activity by attempting to document the presence of spirits at a specific location through the use of scientific data and photographic evidence."
There are books on Delaware Haunts. One good place to see is Pea Patch Island, taking the Ferry over in just a few minutes, if you haven't been there. Other places include one of the oldest play houses in Delaware City, very old, and used for many different things, apparently has had trouble even having tenants for business.
The Delaware Museum of Natural History is having Summer Programs
"The Delaware Museum of Natural History's Summer Camp is an exciting blend of nature, art, and adventure programming designed to provide young campers with a fun and educational summer experience. Using the Museum's facilities and the beautiful environment of the Larry Scott Nature Trail, Summer Camp offers a wide variety of programs designed to engage and excite any child. Whether searching for wildlife, creating a nature journal, or learning about animals from around the globe, campers will enjoy their summer at one of Delaware's favorite museums."
The Museum offers camp programs for children ages 2 through 12.
Camp begins in early June and ends in late August.
Visit the Smyrna Opera House. You can see events there you would pay much more to see at the Met, and the prices much less. One of the oldest opera houses.
"Friday, July 2nd
