Singer Whitney Houston died on Saturday, February 11, 2012 . With few details to report, people are asking, How did Whitney Houston die?

A cause of death has not been given. According to TMZ, a member of Whitney's entourage found her in her room at the Beverly Hilton and called security who then notified authorities. One report suggested that her on-again off-again boyfriend Ray J was the one that found her.

According to an AP report, Houston's body remains at the Beverly Hilton more than four hours after her death.

It's no secret that Whitney Houston has battled substance abuse in the past. No doubt, some will wonder if drugs may have played a role in her death. 

Whitney Houston was spotted in an LA nightclub on Thursday, February 9, 2012. Houston was reportedly acting erratically and had a cut on her wrist and blood dripping down her leg.

UPDATE: TMZ has reported that Whitney Houston's body was found in a hotel room bathtub. They quote a source who said, "Whitney's face was below the water and her legs were up." In a separate report, TMZ stated that Houston had been taking Xanax.
