The May 17, 2011 edition of Dancing With the Stars kicked off another contestant as the 2011 DWTS season ends into the home stretch.

With the DWTS 2011 finals set for next week, Hines Ward and Chelsea Kane were announced they were safe meaning they would compete in the DWTS finals. That put Ralph Macchio and Kirstie Alley at risk of being eliminated. 

The May 17 edition also featured a live performance from Stevie Nicks. The former member of Fleetwood Mac sang her hit "Landslide," which was covered by the Dixie Chicks.
