Bridalplasty is a new reality TV show which pits brides against each other in a series of wedding-themed challenges for the chance to win extensive cosmetic surgery.

A car crash of a reality show is set to hit Australian screens, with Bridalplasty pitting brides with poor self esteem against each other in a hideous competition to win an extreme plastic surgery makeover for the big day.

The show will see the winner - the most cosmetically-enhanced of the lot - walking down the aisle towards a groom who has no idea what she looks like anymore.

But experts have warned such glorification of extreme surgery procedures could contribute to significant mental health problems among vulnerable viewers.
