Who Won Dancing With the Stars Season 12 2011? Was it Kirstie Alley, Chelsea Kane or Hines Ward?

All of the celebrity competitors made an appearance on the dance floor from season 12 at the beginning of the night, but only one can be crowned the champion at the end.

The Black Eyed Peas performed their new song Don't Stop the Party.

After a walk down memory lane, recapping each of the celebrity contestants from this season, and a number of dances from episodes past, it finally came time for the finalists to do their last dances before announcing the winner.

Chelsea and Mark did their Harry Potter dance to rave reviews from the judges and audience. She scores three 10s for a total of 89 out of 90.

Kirstie Alley and Maks danced to Ce Lo Green's Forget You and also earned 3 10s for total of 54 out of 90.

Hines Ward and Kym dance their samba to Fantasy by Earth, Wind & Fire, and also earned 3 10s! That gives him total of 89 out of 90.

Dancing With the Stars 2011 Results:

Chelsea Kane and Mark earn third place in the competition.

Hines Ward wins Dancing With the Stars, putting Kristie Alley in second place.

Hines deserved to win. His dancing style was impeccable as was his stage presence. I think the week that his partner was so badly hurt, seeing him in tears publicly, was icing on the cake. A truly nice guy and a beautiful dancer, always smiling. Glad Kim is all right!! I went into this with Kirstie my favorite and she stayed that way all through, but in the end, Hines was the better dancer. Kirstie is a beautiful dancer and got so nice and toned during this show--good for her! It had to be hell for her in one sense, but seeing her interact with Maks was lots of fun for this viewer. Kudos to Maks and Kirstie, Kim and Hines for making this the best season ever.Chelsea was lovely too; I don't like her partner though and I think he hurt her scores from the public.

Congratulations to Mat and his partner. I was hoping Kirsty would win, but Chelsea is the best dancer by far. The results are fair and congratulations to everyone. They are all great dancers.

Chelsea & Mark would of won that had it been based on " Dancing " It should be called Popularity with the Stars!.. What BS. It should be up to the judges and not on the public who don't know much about what to look for in a dance, it's based on popularity instead. Judges even said Chelsea was the best and most consistant dancer. Public must of felt sorry for Hines loss in the super bowl. Sure to pass on next season.
