Whoopi Goldberg slammed Kate Gosselin over Kate's intrusion on Jon Gosselin's court-appointed time with their eight children. The exchange took place during a taping of a pilot show based on Momlogic.com, co-hosted by Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, and Sherri Shepherd.

They were discussing Kate's dismay over Jon's having hired a babysitter that Kate had never met.

As the other co-hosts quieted, Goldberg repeated herself, looking straight at across the table at Gosselin, "You could have gone to jail, do you realize that?

It took the rest of the hosts to get the conversation away from prickly territory.

Show executives scrambled at the last minute and changed their mind on guests for the pilot. They had originally decided on Mel B and Christie Brinkley but scheduling problems and differences of opinion led to a change of plans during the last few days. That type of upheaval is commonplace with TV pilots, a person connected to the show told RadarOnline.com.

Kate Gosselin is making headlines again this week with her on-air dispute with The View cohost Whoopi Goldberg. Apparently, there was some sort of custody brouhaha, where cops showed up when Jon Gosselin was visiting his kids.  Kate apparently also filmed some sort of pilot – the only pilot involving Kate is one that bails from his plane which crashes into her.  If you really care if Whoopi Goldberg slams Kate Gosselin, then you should get a personal loan and find something to do with your time.
