Have any seen the Wild China series on the Travel Channel this week?
So what do NP contributors think of the series so far?
IMHO it's an obvious PR ploy and found omitted subjects kind of offensive.
No tigers.
And Episode Three: about Tibet! IMHO an interesting informative hypocrisy.

No wonder. The series was co-produced by the China Central Television, and the Chinese version was broadcast under the title of "Beautiful China."

Whoever filmed and edited the Tibetan segment was 'fiendishly' clever. Chinese soldiers were shown in many scenes, obviously there to make sure Tibetans did not 'misbehave' during filming.
