Media Takeout is reporting that Beyonce is due to give birth today (December 27, 2011).

Apparently a "Celebrity VIP" has booked out several single birthing rooms at the Labor and Delivery Suite at Roosevelt Hospital near Columbus Circle on the Upper West Side. (Apparently Alicia Keys booked the same area.)

(MTO fails to clarify this: St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital has two separate campuses, on opposite ends of the UWS; if they really had inside info, would they not also know from which hospital the Beyonce reports were coming?).

We know that Beyonce is due to give birth in December, and there are only a few days left in the month. This story is still in the rumor stage. We will update it if Beyonce really does give birth on December 27.

Hospital staff are not allowed to divulge patient information to the public, and there is a considerable number of celebrities in the greater New York metropolitan area. The death of actress Natasha Richardson was originally leaked by Lennox Hill hospital staff, so the hold on information isn't exactly airtight.
