Will Smith Donates Over $1 Million To Fund Scientology School
Hollywood power couple Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith have won critical acclaim for pumping nearly $1 million of their own money into a new private school that will offer organic meals, laptops for every student and an environment of learning based on "equity" and "respect" to create "citizens of the world."Here's what the parents of the school's pupils aren't being told:
The New Village Academy plans to use some teaching methods developed within the Church of Scientology and has hired a team of Scientologists to put them into action.
Pinkett-Smith, who currently home-schools the couple's two children, has long been talking about opening up a school where Jaden, 9, and Willow, 7, can continue to receive an education in line with their beliefs, friends told FOXNews.com.

This is really sad to hear. A former Christian turned cultist ... "I", "ME" paradigm.

Hell, if you must have religious schools why not Scientologists? Not like they could do worse than the Catholic Fathers molesting their students.

For the photos..that was amazing ! A big surprise, Will Smith on set, filming a Hancock scene in the middle of the crowded Time Square ! Fortunatly I had my camera and a 300 mm zoom lens...
For the scientology... no comment !

Here's Will Smith on "I am Legend" spanish press conference. He always was kind, and he got rid of his bodyguards and came closer, with the fans; then he sign some posters and posed with us. It was great.

I went to one of the top public schools in the country, and the most I learned was: a) how to build a stun gun out of old radio parts; and b) how to turn a corona bottle into a bong. Before that I was in private school for eight years, and learned probably less.
I say, as bad as the schools are in this country anyway, a Scientology school is probably not going to be that much worse. I'm sure the uniforms won't be as sexy as Catholic school, though.

Will Smith is a talented, gifted and downright charming actor. I had the opportunity to interview this icon,he was a such gentleman and I pray that our paths cross again one day!
His generosity does not surprise me at all. His mother raised him well.
