Willa Cather quote. grey leather journal or sketchbook. handbound | Photo 02

I made this journal/sketchbook in my bookbinding studio in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada.

I'm doing a series of leather journals with quotes about the moon on the first page (seemed like a good idea, since my business name is Moon Bindery :).

This one has this quote by Willa Cather :

"The sky was a midnight-blue, like warm, deep, blue water, and the moon seemed to lie on it like a water-lily, floating forward with an invisible current."

The rest of the pages are blank, and are made with hand-torn writing/sketch paper.
