SPECIAL FOURTH OF JULY "THANK YOU" TO OUR FANTASTIC TROOPS!
Adding 1, 776 Faces In 17 Days And 76 Minutes To The World's Longest Cartoon!
Vegas Artist On The Road To Breaking 2nd Guinness Record: The July 4th "THANK YOU" Tribute To Support Our Troops! With the addition of a special section to the World's Longest Cartoon including 1, 776 Las Vegas USA "United We Stand" Animated People, this Vegas Artist salutes all those who protect our nation's freedom.
Inspired by the patriotic water, music and light spectacular at the Bellagio Fountains featured with songs like the "Star Spangled Banner"and "God Bless The USA", Cooksey wanted to acknowledge the dedication and service to our country of all our past and present military men and women.
So at exactly 10:44 PM on June 17, 2008 standing in front of the fountains, this Vegas Artist created the first of one thousand, seven-hundred and seventy-six cartoon people to join the twenty years of fun faces already residing at home on the World's Longest Cartoon.
Why 10:44 PM on June 17, 2008? That's exactly 17 days and 76 minutes before midnight on July 4th! 1,776 patriotic cartoon faces in 17 days and 76 minutes in keeping with Cooksey's first Guinness Record Breaker endurance event of 17 hours and 76 minutes on the Strip in the Bi-Centenial year. God Bless America's Troops and Their Families from Viva Las Vegas USA!

To the person who wrote me from my WLC webpage and wanted to learn more about breaking my first Guinness Record on the Las Vegas Strip, let me invite you to read about the entire adventure (and it was indeed a "wild ride"). All the blood, sweat and tears are covered in an online book about the event entitled "I'll Climb That Mountain" at http://billjanaecooksey.tripod.com/MtBookMenu.html or you can scroll down http://www.WildBillUSA.com to the "Read My Book" link just above my picture with David Brenner. There is also a surprise ending which gave me lots of wisdom about what to do and not to do concerning my World's Longest Cartoon event.
