Your so gullible - A shortened history on why

Unfortunately humans are easily indoctrinated, we are an intelligent species, but the animal instincts are still within us. We still have the herd instinct that makes us rely on leadership, initially that leadership was the strongest and fittest of the tribe. Later as mankind became more intelligent certain members of human tribes became cunning. They did not want to hunt but just lead or help lead a tribe they wanted people to hunt for them so they used tricks to fool their tribe to think they had magical powers and they talked to imaginary spirits such as an invented god of the local volcano.

Some looked at the sun as being a god as time went by legends where created of imaginary gods, the gullibility factor was fully exploited by clever humans that learned how easy it was to indoctrinate people. but many of the great hunters and the powerful members of tribes realized that they could retain a strong hold over the other members of a tribe if they controlled or work in tandem with the new breed of holy men they made the holy men declared them to be a sons of god, or one of the most powerful gods. It did not take many generation to make all members in the various tribes to believe in there imaginary gods and their leaders where related to the gods.

Many centuries later many new religions where formed each and every holy man respecting the pecking order within the indoctrination of their flocks and the need to adapt to the wishes of the warrior king, queen or emperor wishes. not to do so could be life threatening. Many that rebelled against the royal families ended up losing their heads. As time past by tribes formed kingdoms and nations new religions where formed many wars where fought for more riches and power. Empires where built religion where enforced on to defeated enemies.

One such empire the Roman empire sophisticated its many religions in to one that could be easily be controlled by the empire, this factor is why and how the Christian faith began to spread like wild fire. One other religion also spread on empire building and that of course was Islam similarly enforced also on to defeated enemies.
For many centuries there after religion was spread by the empire builders, the global colonization by European nations spread Christianity around the globe even to America where many branches of Christianity have blossomed into new shoots many being fundamentally different than the original Catholicism the faith of the Roman Empire.

There had been moves to take the power away from bad rulers many Royal families installed governments so that upper legion aristocrats could have a controlled say in governing the country or nation. Briton later turn the governing mostly over to the people and created the house of commons. Gradually democratic politics became the way forward as the way of controlling people, the aim was however to give the people a say in their governance.

As citizens in Europe became more educated a new breed of Philosophers published new ideas on how nations should be governed, the most famous being Karl Marx. His work became the foundation of fundamental thinking on Nationalism and Socialism and lead to Communism, Marxism Fascism. Today every politician knows how easy the public can be indoctrinated they know how gullible a human can be.

There is a global requirement to wake up to the fact that all politicians go into politics to make money for them selves and those that help to get them in to power. They will never be a servant to the people and any one them what ever leanings left, center or right will go to war to benefit themselves or others to make money.

They will not care on cent that your sons daughters or grandchildren sent to such wars are injured or killed. They are collateral damage of the big power game, just pawns any tears these self centered spoilt rich bastards shed are crocodile tears in fact I think they have crocodile in their DNA.

I wonder how many people reading this voted for President Bush an now wished they not? After seeing his crocodile tears followed by that damn faint smile of his.

Did you know even soldiers are indoctrinated, they certainly are its not with patriotism to the politics but to the country, regiment and the fact they are representatives, the protectors of the nation they served. They are constantly told they are needed and doing a very good job. I can remember my own indoctrination many years ago whilst serving my country. Oh yes, was made into a patriotic killing machine, proud of my country and a true Royalist. I knew every battle honor and the complete record of my battalions glory filled history. It only when I see a few people I knew die that I realized that being a patriot was very dangerous.

Later I learnt that politicians had a lot of power and made bad decisions that are better being made by Generals but that's another story. It then became a job the patriotism wore away.

The corrupt evil rich have you under their power and there is nothing you can do about it other than not vote. If everybody stayed away from the voting stations I wonder what would happen, but no that will never be the case as there are to many indoctrinated sheep mostly taken in by promises of tax cuts and more open government. Snake oil!
