Zürich celebrates European mobility week

The centre of Zürich closed down on the Sunday for "Zürich Multimobil", in conjunction with "European Mobility week", a Europe-wide exmination of alternative (sustainable) forms of transportation. At first, we thought it was a "green festival" which made it very confusing as to why they were releasing hundreds of these green balloons (a.k.a rubber trash). Subsequently it transpired to be a competition for whose balloon could get the furthest. The irony of this is not lost on me.
