Cwmavons Kicking2gether dance class closed due to lack of funding | Port Talbot Chat

Kicking2gether, a dance class that is based in Cwmavon, has had to stop its classes due to lack of funding.

The class, which has been running for over 5 years at the YWCA at Depot Road, was originally self funded. However in recent years it saw both the YWCA funding the class and then a combined funding from the YWCA and the Youth Service.

The all girls dance group, open for ages 11 - 20, has had a lot of success and was nominated for a Wales Excellence Award in 2002. They have also danced in the Welsh Assembly, the Neath Festival and other various high profile events.
