BAF reports on two Turks who are being prosecuted for 'insulting the Turkish identity', 'inciting hatred of Islam' and for 'spreading the message of the Bible by correspondence' (I'm not sure what this latter means: by mail? a correspondence course?); according the site a total of 99 people have been charged in the last 16 months on the basis of Article 301, which restricts various aspects of free speech: "and Europe wants to infect itself with this?"

We know that two, famous Turks (M Pamuk, the Nobel laureate, and Mme Cig, the archaeologist) have been found not guilty of 'insulting the Turkish identity'--and they not accused of spreading Christianity: I wonder how many people are being fined or imprisoned whose names are not reported?
